Tess Oral Paste 5 gm

Tess Oral Paste 5 gm is used for the treatment of mouth ulcers. Also, it is used to treat mouth irritation. Tess Oral Paste 5 gm belongs to a group of medications called corticosteroids. It contains Triamcinolone which works by reducing inflammation. It adheres to oral lesions, providing a localised anti-inflammatory effect.

Use Tess Oral Paste 5 gm as advised by your doctor. Tess Oral Paste 5 gm may cause side effects such as burning, itching, irritation, redness or dryness of the treated area. These side effects of Tess Oral Paste 5 gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Triamcinolone or any other ingredients of Tess Oral Paste 5 gm, tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before using Tess Oral Paste 5 gm. Inform your doctor if you have bacterial or fungal infections of the throat or mouth. If you are taking any other supplements or medicines, inform your doctor.

Do not rub the paste in, as it will become grainy, crumbly, or gritty. Do not eat or drink immediately after applying Tess Oral Paste 5 gm.

  • Avoid foods that irritate your mouth, such as acidic fruits, nuts, chips, and spicy foods. Instead, pick non-acidic fruits and vegetables and whole grains. Eat a well-balanced diet and consider taking a multivitamin daily.
  • To minimize unintentional bites, try to avoid talking while you are chewing food.
  • Maintain proper oral hygiene by brushing your teeth after meals and flossing every day.
  • Reduce your stress.
  • Avoid hard-bristled toothbrushes and mouthwashes containing alcohol or sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS).
